Mechanical and Electrical Failure Analysis is the process of collecting evidence and analyzing data to determine the cause (or root causes) of a potential failure or defect. The responsibility or cause of failures can be derived by using a variety of methods, which include; real time x-rays and 3D microscopy. Nondestructive testing methods are valuable because potentially failed products are unaffected by this type of analysis. Forensic evaluations are a valuable tool in any case from the causation side during the investigative process.
